On Friday Visitors could visit the Bear’s Mill for a stroll through the candlelit path around the Mill and enjoy refreshments around the campfire and inside the mill live music by Joseph Helfrich. Stoneground flours, holiday decorations, homemade candies, gourmet food items and Bear’s Mill souvenirs were available at the store.
On Saturday, Shawnee Prarie Preserve invited to “Walkin’ in a Winter Wonderland” – a great event for the whole family! 600 luminaries lighted the ways along the trails.
In the log house you could listen to music of Christmas past and enjoy a warm drink and snack
Inside the Nature Center (not just kids) could decorate gingerbread cookies, make a holiday craft, and also visit Santa!
