Charles Michael Ashby born April 27, 1947. A resident of Wayne Lakes Passed away at Wayne Hospital after a brief illness on December 2, 2021. He was retired from Corning in Greenville, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jewel and Elsie Ashby, and brother Timothy Ashby.
Charles is survived by his wife of 55 years Sandra (Hangen) Ashby; son, Todd (Melissa Stump) Ashby; son Russell ( Terri) Ashby and family; daughter, Melanie (Mike) Stump; grand children; Terra Edwards; Tray Ashby; Dalton Stump; Carson ( Lydia) Stump; Mikayla ( Elijah) Livingston; great grand daughter; Raya Stump; sisters Lisa (Don) Meyers and Tina Mc Manis along with other family and friends.
Charles had requested a small, private Family service. Arrangements have been planned through Zechar Bailey Funeral Home.
Charles loved his family and was so proud of each one of them. He was always there when anyone needed him. Charles enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends. As a devoted Christian he loved his church and the church family.
