Charles Ray Coulter, age 74 of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Sunday July 16, 2023 at 7:45 AM at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, Ohio. Born in Mineral Springs, Arkansas on July 19, 1948 he was a son to Queen (Hendrix) Lafayette. Charles had worked as an in home caregiver with the mentally challenged. He was always on the go, whether it was playing tennis and basketball at the YMCA, or playing the piano and singing at church. He had a love for music, and was very artistic; enjoying painting and drawing. He was loved by many and will be truly missed. Charles is preceded in death by his stillborn daughter Shamekia Lynn Coulter: sisters Deborah Lafayette and Dorothy Coulter: brother Jimmy Hendrix: companion and long-time friend Sharon Jones.
Survived by his daughters Regina Coulter; Amy Jones; Ivy Jones: many step-children: step-grandson Tristan Rollins: mother Queen & Elee Lafayette: nieces Latosha Stone-Keagy; Shareece Hendrix; Keisha Hendrix: nephew Devin Hendrix: life-long friend Sharon C.: as well as many friends and extended family members.
