Christopher John Kelly

October 26, 1970 – February 8, 2025

Christopher John Kelly, 54 of Ansonia, Ohio, passed away on Saturday February 8, 2025, at 10:17 PM at Wayne Healthcare ER. Chris was born October 26, 1970, in Greenville, Ohio, the son of Edward Lee and Shelba (Schlosser) Kelly of Ansonia. Chris worked at Crown Equipment.

Chris is preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold and Glenna Schlosser, and Patty Jo Kelly, his aunt, June Baker, and his uncle, Gary Kelly.

Chris was a loving, caring and kind person. He cared deeply for his family, he was a loving son, brother, grandson, uncle, husband, dad and grandpa, He was looking forward to all things he would be able to do with his grandson. He would do anything to make the girls, and I laugh, wearing a princess headband to M&Ms or stuffing melons in his shirt and walk through the living room. He loved his daughters unconditionally. He was a great dad. Chris had an infectious laugh. He liked riding his Harley, playing on his computer, watching NASCAR and going to Eldora, Chris was also a hardworking guy, he loved working at Crown and the people he worked “Mister F03” is what he would refer to himself as. He will be missed by many.

Chris is survived by his wife Tonya (Cattell) Kelly of Ansonia whom he married March 23, 1991; his daughters and son in law, Audrey and Lucas Chrisman, Emily Kelly, Melody Kelly; his grandson, Malcolm Chrisman; his grandfather, Malcolm Kelly; his brothers and sister-in-law, Edward and Yvonne Kelly Jr., and Michael Kelly; his sister and brother-in-law, Onneke and Josh Edwards, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Friday February 21, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Todd Reish officiating. Burial will follow in Brock Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
