Cindy (Roop) Fourman age 74, of Greenville passed away at 4:12 pm Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at Ayden Healthcare of Greenville.
Cindy was born November 23, 1947, in Miami County to the late Irvin L. “Butch” & Mary Ella (Garwood) Roop. Cindy was also preceded in death by her husband, John M. Fourman on February 16, 2018, whom she married August 17, 1974; and brothers, David Roop and Kenneth Roop.
Cindy is survived by her children, Sara & Michael Fox of Greenville, Christopher & Stephanie Barringer of Greenville and Beth & Clay Huff of Huber Heights; grandchildren, Libby Fox, Michael Fox, Charlie Barringer, and Jessica & Jeff Welbaum; great grandchildren, Jackson & Jenson Welbaum; siblings, Daniel & Janet Roop of Thackery, Michael Roop of Brookville and Susan & Ken Overholser of Tipp City; sister-in-law, Lynda Fourman of Wabash, Indiana; and aunt, Sara Vanatta of Greenville.
Cindy formerly worked at U.S. Airway in reservations for 16 years and as a teller at Second National Bank in Greenville. She was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary. She was a very proud grandma and great grandma. Cindy loved collecting panda bears and traveling.
A celebration of Cindy’s life will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, October 29, 2022, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville. Burial will follow in Newcomer Cemetery in Darke County. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
