Connie Ann Stonerock

Connie Ann Stonerock, 62, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022, at Wayne Healthcare in Greenville.

She was born on October 27, 1959, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Jay and June (Hawlik) Clevenger.

In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Clevenger; and her brother-in-law, Rodney Winn.

Connie spent a majority of her life doing what she loved, cooking and baking. She worked for several places in Greenville as a cook. She was known for her delicious Buckeyes and would send them all over the country to her family and friends. She had a crafty touch as well. She enjoyed crocheting and made many booties for her family. Connie enjoyed being outdoors tending to her vegetable garden. If she wasn’t in the kitchen or the garden, she was most likely watching an old western movie. Family was important to Connie; her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She enjoyed spending time with them and teaching them her skills in the kitchen and the garden.

Connie is survived by her children, Anne Stonerock of Greenville, and Anthony (Ashley) Stonerock of Greenville; her grandchildren, Crystal McFerran, Starr Whalen, and Gavin, Rowan, and Rhen Stonerock; and her siblings, Jay (Dalene Byers) Clevenger of New Madison, Ohio, David (Debra) Clevenger of Troy, Ohio, Lynn (Kim) Lyons of Pitsburg, Ohio, Steve (Jeanene Locke) Clevenger of Spokene Washington, Patricia (Brad) Bragg of Union City, Indiana, and Laura Winn of Union City, Indiana.

A private celebration of Connie’s life will take place at the convenience of the family.
