Connie Louise Coppess, 75 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on March 7, 2021 at Reid Health Center in Richmond, Indiana.
She was born in Piqua, Ohio to the late Harold Asher and Lila Lee (Gump) Foster.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jerald “Jerry” Verlin Coppess, whom she married on December 2, 1978; her son Joey (Carrie) Gump of Smith Grove, Kentucky; her siblings, Diana (Gary) Daugherty of Wayne Lakes, Ohio, Tammy (Kent) Mowry of Greenville, Tom (Melissa) Foster of Union City, Ohio, Tonya (Jay) Small of Greenville, Tim Foster (Bernadette Castaneda) of Greenville; her brothers-in-law, Jim (Sandy) Christman of Bentonville, Arkansas, and John Christman of Greenville; her sister-in-law, Joyce Grilliot of New Madison, Ohio; her nephews and nieces, Shawn Foster (Christina Temple), Alex Foster, Justin (Karli) Amspaugh, Sara Goubeaux (Bryan Schott), Tyler (Adelee) Small, Morgan Small (Matthew Sheard), Alicia (Andrew) Davidson; as well as numerous cousins and friends.
Connie was a warm, funny and caring mischief-maker who liked to talk to everyone. Her connections with people and what was going on in the community were her passions. Connie took pride in being a homemaker. She worked faithfully for many years, in a job she loved, as a Nursing Assistant at the Brethren’s Home, finishing her career in retail sales. She and Jerry enjoyed traveling many miles on their motorcycle and were lifetime AMA members. Connie was one of those special people who brought joy to everyone around her and she was loved by all.
