Each year, as Darke County wraps up Thanksgiving and enters the Christmas and New Years Holiday season, County News Online begins its own abbreviated publishing schedule. It is based primarily upon the availability of local news. Businesses, organizations and families are busy preparing for the holidays and scheduled activities are often private affairs.
This time of year there isn’t typically as much local news, however we will be delighted to publish any newsworthy items of local interest that we receive.
In addition, CNO WILL continue to publish Empowering news, relevant education stories, obituaries, and a regular holiday offering that had been published by CNO in years past. Daily updates will continue to be provided on Facebook: County News Online and Empowering Darke County Youth.
