Darke County Economic Development is excited to introduce the Darke County IGNITE Awards, previously known as the 20 Under 20 Awards. The Darke County IGNITE Awards aim to honor high school juniors and seniors participating in work-based learning programs, showcasing their ability to apply classroom knowledge in real-world work settings.
Nominations are open for the Darke County IGNITE Awards – now through Friday, March 22nd. Please nominate those students you believe are deserving of this award!
To be eligible, nominees must be:
- Students from Darke County who are a High School Junior or Senior
- Currently involved in mentoring, part-time employment, internships, pre- apprenticeships, apprenticeships, entrepreneurship, and other business/education partnerships
- Students can be nominated by the employer, educator, OR both
The student, educator, and business of our winners will be recognized in their communities. We appreciate your support in helping us acknowledge these partnerships, which are important to the development of our future workforce!
