Darke County Republican Women’s Club to host Candidates


GOP General Election candidates to speak

GREENVILLE, OHIO – The Darke County Republican Women’s Club (DCRWC) is hosting an evening when the Republican Candidates appearing on the November 5 General Election Ballot will have an opportunity to speak. Candidates will begin speaking at 6:30 p.m. on September 9 at the Double M Diner, 537 South Broadway Street – Suite #104 (enter from East 5th Street), Greenville.

“The Republican Women are pleased to provide this opportunity for the community to hear the Republican Candidates for office. I would encourage each of you to attend and bring a friend. The Double M has been most gracious in hosting our meetings with great food and beautiful décor.” said Robyn Whitaker, DCRWC President.

Republican candidates, and office sought, who have been invited to speak are: Warren Davidson for United States House of Representatives, Robert Hanseman for Judge of Second District Court of Appeals, Susan Manchester for State Senator (12th District), Jonathan Newman for State Representative (80th District), Angie King for State Representative (84th District), Matthew Aultman for Darke County Commissioner, Aaron Flatter for Darke County Commissioner, James D. Bennett for Darke County Prosecuting Attorney, Cindy Pike for Darke County Clerk of the Court of Common Pleas, Mark E. Whittaker for Darke County Sheriff, and Hillary J. Holzapfel for Darke County Recorder.

The program is free and does not require reservations. Double M Diner will be offering full menu items for sale beginning at 6 p.m.

DCRWC is a local political group open to all Republicans. It was founded to provide political education and legislative information; provide a wider knowledge of the principles of the Republican Party; increase the number of registered Republicans; recruit, promote, and support qualified Republican women for political office; give exposure to and work actively for all Republican candidates; and lend support to the activities of other Republican organizations. The DCRWC is a multi-generational, multi-cultural organization providing the structure and support for political activists to learn, engage, and flourish.
