Update: Brandon Scott Smathers is in custody
The Darke County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public’s help to locate Brandon Smathers.
He is wanted on 10 counts of sex offenses involving a child and 1 count of felonious assault.
Although he resided in Greenville, he is now known to frequent Athens County. Please remember, do NOT attempt to apprehend this individual.
