Dave Knapp Ford held their second Annual Mustang Roundup

Although a Friday, more than 20 Mustangs and their owners found their way to the second annual Mustang Roundup, hosted by Dave Knapp Ford.

The oldest car at this Roundup was a 1966 Mustang Convertible with the extremely rare bench seat. Only about 3000 Mustangs Convertibles with this bench seat were built in this year.

Also on display was a 1968 Ford Mustang 2+2 Fastback, sold from the Showroom here in Greenville (Ernie Myers Ford-Mercury) and still in the hands of the original owner.

The most expensive car (about $90K) was a black Mustang GT500 with 780HP, sold at Dave Knapp Ford.

Of course, Dave Knapp has a Mustang of his own: a yellow “Boss 302” from 1969.

Dave Knapp shared that they plan to do the next Mustang Roundups on Saturdays, because most of the people work on Fridays. A Mustang Club from Cincinnati with more than 50 Mustangs was interested to come to this event, but the fact that it was on a Friday made it impossible for them to come.

Dave Knapp as well as the other Mustang owners enjoy fellowship (not just) at these events.

After the Mustang Roundup, many of those who attended the Roundup, were cruising to one of the biggest car shows in our area: the Car Show at Tipp City’s Mum Festival!
