Daylight Saving Time (DST) starts on Sonday, March 10. That night at 2:00 AM clocks are set forward by one hour to make better use of the longer daylight available during summer.
DST aims to maximize natural daylight during the longer days of summer, reducing the need for artificial lighting and energy consumption.
Remember to adjust your clocks accordingly during DST. Most electronic devices (cell-phones, computer) usually adjust automatically but many clocks, e.g. appliances (oven, microwave, etc.), wall clocks, etc. don’t, so be sure to adjust them manually.
