Darke County Center for the Arts has planned a special event to brighten the dreary days of February; on Thursday, February 13, Hotel Versailles will host a full buffet meal prepared by Silas Creative Kitchen. This early Valentine’s Day celebration will feature singer/songwriter Lisa Biales, who has a strong local following as well as a bevy of fans throughout southwestern Ohio, performing songs from her vast repertoire which ranges through genres and eras to encompass music that almost everyone loves to hear.
“Lisa’s vocal range is matched by her ability to communicate the intrinsic message of her songs,” said David Warner, Artistic Director of Performing Arts for DCCA. “Lisa was born to sing, and joyfully delivers music that brings pleasure and satisfaction to her listeners, providing just the right atmosphere for celebrating Valentine’s Day with dear friends, your family, or your sweetie,” Mr. Warner explained
The menu created by Silas for the dinner buffet includes roasted King’s chicken with seasonal pesto, braised short ribs with Bordelaise sauce, homestyle mashed potatoes, and seasonal vegetables plus Sycamore Bridge salad featuring mixed greens, blueberries, aged cheddar, candied pecans topped with honey champagne vinaigrette, house milk bread with honey sea salt butter, and for dessert, tasty seasonal cheesecake bites. The buffet meal will be available from 5:30 till 7 p.m.; the music begins at 7 p.m. A cash bar will be open throughout the evening.
This Special Event is presented by Darke County Center for the Arts, your local non-profit arts council committed to creating exceptional & accessible arts experiences throughout Darke County.
