GREENVILLE, OH ─ The Darke County Republican Party (DCRP) met recently to hold its biennial reorganization meeting as required by the Ohio Revised Code.
In even numbered years, major party precinct committeemen are elected in the primary election. After the election, the county party must meet to re-organize. This re-organization is done in both the Central Committee and the Executive Committee. The re-organization of the DCRP Central Committee involves electing central committee officers, members to serve on the DCRP Executive Committee and Chairman of the DCRP Executive Committee. The re-organization of the DCRP Executive Committee involves election of all officers except the chairman.
The DCRP Central Committee elected the following officers: Chairman Matt Aultman, Vice Chairman Carol Ginn, Treasurer Gwen Tinkle and Secretary Lyn Bliss. Katie DeLand was elected as Chairman of the DCRP Executive Committee. Per Article IV of the DCRP Bylaws, the following members of the DCRP Central Committee were elected to serve on the DCRP Executive Committee: Section 1 (D) Lyn Bliss. Section 1 (E) Keith Threewits, Section 1 (F) Gwen Tinkle, Section 1 (G) Jeff Ruffing, and Section 1 (H) Debra Kremer-Smith.
The DCRP Executive Committee elected the following officers to serve with Chairman DeLand:
Vice Chairman Jim Ward, Treasurer Roxanne Willman, and Secretary Jaime LeVeck.
