Delbert L. Musselman age 84, of Union City, Ohio, passed away at 12:39 am Monday, August 1, 2022, at Union City Care Center.
Delbert was born April 7, 1938, in Darke County to the late Wilbur J. & Kathryn L. (Wills) Musselman. In addition to his parents, Delbert was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles Musselman; and sisters, Wilma Sleppy, Julia Timmons McWhinney and Roberta Neargardner Schieding.
Delbert is survived by his siblings, James Musselman of Kentucky, Gary Musselman of Hollansburg, Phyl & Bob Sherry of Greenville, Jennifer Hofacker Fields of Greenville, Bonnie Reed of Greenville, Cindy & Don Ditty of Greenville and Goldie White of Greenville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Delbert served in the U.S. Army from 1957-1960. Delbert formerly worked at Sheller Globe in Union City, Indiana. Delbert was an avid woodcutter, loved hunting and fishing, and enjoyed helping others.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, August 4, 2022, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Todd Reish officiating. Burial will follow in Hollansburg Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at the funeral home with military honors conducted by the Greenville Veteran’s Honor Guard.
