Delores J. Williams, 87 of Versailles, Ohio, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, February 10, 2025 at the Oakley Place in Greenville.
She was born on May 12, 1937 to the late Frank and Mildred (Wetzel) Taylor.
Proceeding her in death, husband James Williams; son, Fred Williams; grandchildren, Jay James Williams, Jannie Williams Shaw, Jamie Wiliams; and stepson Joey Hobbs; and her sister, Marlene (Taylor) Harrod.
She is survived by a daughter, Christine (Bruce) Agne of Greenville; daughter-in-law, Rhonda Williams of Greenville; and son, Richard (Kyong AE) Williams of Washington. She is also survived by her two sisters, Brenda McMahan of Phoenix, Arizona, and Ethel (Carl) McEldowney of Ansonia, Ohio; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Delores graduated in 1955 from Ansonia High School. After graduation she lived in Dayton and worked as a secretary at Wright Patterson AFB until she married Jim Williams on August 5, 1956. She was a homemaker and dedicated farm wife. Delores was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, North Star, Ohio. She taught Sunday School and later helped in the church office. She had a “green thumb” when it came to gardening. She also loved flying with her husband and earned her pilot wings in 1972. Delores also loved spending time with her family.
Celebration of Delores’ life will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 13495 Greenville – St. Marys Road, Versailles, Ohio 45380. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Guests may visit with Delores’ family on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the start of the service at 11:00 AM at the church.
