Diana M. DeMange, age 79, of Murphy Road, Versailles, passed away peacefully Friday, February 28, 2025 in Chandler, AZ. She was born June 29, 1945 in St. Sebastian to the late Joseph H. Homan Jr and Viola (Kremer) Homan. She married Carl F. DeMange on July 29, 1967 in St. Sebastian Catholic Church. Carl passed away March 5, 2021.
She is survived by her children Cindi and Chris Gaiser of Chandler, AZ, Carla DeMange of Chandler, AZ, Craig (deceased) and Carrie DeMange of Clarksville, OH, Chad and Cecilia DeMange of Mesa, AZ; eight grandchildren: Derek and Gabby Gaiser, Ethan Gaiser, Trent Gaiser, Ella DeMange, Cameron DeMange, Seth DeMange, Shane DeMange and Sofia DeMange. Sister-in-law Mary Ann Homan of Coldwater, OH. Siblings Judy Link of Fountain Hills, AZ, Lucy Poeppelman of Ottowa, OH, Leon and Katie Homan of New Bremen, OH, Dennis and Helen Schattel of Bloomington, IN, Terese Knapik of Fountain Hills, AZ, Rick and Marlene Brunswick of Forrest, OH, Joe of Elmira, NY, Mark and Lisa Seitz of Maria Stein, OH, Craig and Ann Nesbit of Colorado Springs, CO, Tim Homan of Horton, KS, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by brothers Ron Homan, Virgil Homan, Dave Homan, Martin Homan, and sister Rose Ann Homan. In-Laws Paul and Helen DeMange. Brother-in-laws Tom Link, Mike Knapik, David Poeppelman, Bob Poeppelman and Jerry Bensman, Harold Niekamp. Sister-In-Law Brenda Homan.
Diana graduated from Marion Local High School in 1963. She was a member of St. Dennis Catholic Church and St. Timothy Catholic Church, Mesa, AZ. Diana retired from Midmark and worked for Reynolds and Reynolds for many years.
Diana was a babysitter, caregiver, proud grandma and enjoyed being a band mom (and known for braiding hair) and working/running the concession stands. She was a Marionette Pom-Pom and a Chickasaw Chicks as a catcher.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday March 24, 2025 at 10:30 AM, at St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles with Fr. Ned Brown Celebrant. Burial following in St. Valbert Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Sunday March 23, 2025 and from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM on Monday at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles, Ohio.
