Does your donation really end up where it’s supposed to be?

… or does it line the pockets of some shady people or finance radical political agendas?

A report shows that one of the most prominent animal welfare groups, ASPCA, is hoarding Millions of dollars (many of them in Caribbean offshore accounts) and gives just lousy 2.5% of the budget to animal shelters, while paying six-figure salaries to employees!

The newly formed think tank “The Center for the Environment and Welfare (CEW)” launches a big campaign to expose the “business practices” of the non-profit “American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA)”.

The report reveals that the ASPCA in 2021 had $390 million in revenue and $575 million in assets, including $310 million in investments and $105 million in savings. Perhaps most striking, the animal welfare group has about $11 million in offshore accounts in the Caribbean, while tax filings show ASPCA CEO Matt Berkshadker rakes in nearly $1 million a year and 259 of his employees make six figures.

It’s up to your own imagination what other animal welfare groups, such as PETA might do with the money, animal lovers send them.

So, the next time you see an ad or a commercial with images of abused pets, remember this report and instead of donating to these organizations, help your local Shelter. You can be sure that your money is at the right place where it will really help!

And this not only applies to pets! Your money ALWAYS helps most when it’s donated directly, to organizations you know in person!
