On September 9, 2024 at approximately 9:24 PM Darke County Deputies along with Tri Village Rescue, New Madison Fire and Med Flight were dispatched to the intersection of Richmond Palestine Road and Mills Road in ref. to a motorcycle crash with injuries.
Preliminary investigation revealed a black 2007 Suzuki Boulevard driven by Joseph Harper ,23, of Bolivar Ohio was traveling West on Mills Road near Richmond Palestine Road. Mr. Harper was unable to stop for a posted stop sign traveling through the intersection and over turning. Mr. Harper and his passenger Fatih Majkowski ,21, of Maine we ejected from the motorcycle. Mr. Harper was treated and released at the scene by Tri Village Rescue. Ms. Majkowski was treated at the scene by Tri Village rescue and was transported to Kettering Health by Med Flight with non life threatening injuries. Mr. Harper and Ms. Majkowski were wearing helmets at the time of the accident.
This accident remains under investigation by the Darke County Sheriff’s Office
