Evelyn Elaine (Schultz) Pahl, 85, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at Brookhaven Retirement Community in Brookville, Ohio.
She was the daughter of Clarence and Ella Schultz and was born on April 18, 1936, in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Her siblings are Clarence and Marti Schultz of Oshkosh, and Mary Syrja of Cottage Grove, Minnesota.
Evelyn and Carroll Pahl were married on August 11, 1956, and they celebrated 65 years of marriage on August 11, 2021. Evelyn and Carroll are the parents of four sons; David (Kelly) Pahl of Gillette, Wyoming, Douglas Pahl of Laura, Ohio, Daniel (Melissa) Pahl of Lewisburg, Ohio, and Darin (Catherine Veith) Pahl of Norwalk, Wisconsin. These sons gave Evelyn and Carroll nine grandchildren, Joshua (Chelsea) Pahl, Branden (Kimberly) Pahl, Elaine (Steven) Cook, Jonathan Pahl, Nathaniel (Jessica) Pahl, Stephanie (Eric) Blundell, Cassandra (Tyler Harbolt) Ward, Mariah (Seth Armstrong) Pahl, and Geoffrey Pahl. Evelyn and Carroll have 16 great grandchildren.
Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Ella Schultz.
During her marriage, Evelyn was a certified nursing assistant, doing in-home care. While living in California (1967-1971) she owned and operated an ultra-custom drapery shop. Evelyn was a volunteer for Wayne Healthcare in Greenville for over 20 years, where she was coordinator of the flower workshop.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Evelyn will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
