Celina, OH – March 5, 2025 – EverHeart Hospice is thrilled to announce that they were recently honored with the prestigious Business of the Year award by the Celina Mercer County Chamber of Commerce. This recognition was presented to EverHeart at the Chamber’s Annual Awards Banquet on February 27, 2025.
The Business of the Year award is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and unwavering commitment EverHeart Hospice has shown the community since serving its first patient over 44 years ago. Their mission since the beginning has been to provide exceptional and compassionate care to patients and their families, never turning anyone away due to a lack of insurance coverage or ability to pay.
Kristi Strawser, Chief Executive Officer at EverHeart Hospice, expressed her gratitude to the Celina Mercer County Chamber of Commerce, stating, “This award is a reflection of the incredible effort each member of our team puts in every day. It is a proud moment for all of us, and it motivates us to continue striving for excellence in serving our community.
Strawser also shared, “This award gives us a wonderful opportunity to highlight the many services we provide to patients while on our hospice program, including We Honor Veterans, Music Therapy, Corynna’s Wish, and our Nursing Honor Guard to name a few. So many times we hear families say they wish they would have called us sooner, so we encourage those with questions, or perhaps those who may think hospice is only for the final days of life, to give us a call or stop in our office to have a conversation. The sooner you reach out to our team, the more benefits both the patient and family will receive.”
The beautiful plaque and trophy received will proudly be displayed at EverHeart Hospice’s Mercer County office, located at 230 W. Main St. in Coldwater, as a symbol of their commitment to excellence and the ongoing efforts to make a positive impact in the lives of those they serve.
