Darke County Park District is thrilled to announce the launch of its brand-new mobile application, designed to enhance the way visitors explore and experience the county’s incredible parks and trails. Powered by the OuterSpatial platform, this innovative app is now available for FREE on both iPhone and Android devices, offering users a seamless and interactive way to navigate the great outdoors—whether hiking, biking, paddling, or simply enjoying nature.
With the mobile app, visitors can:

“We are incredibly excited about the features of this app—the social aspects, the interactive challenges, and the ability to instantly report issues for maintenance,” said Robb Clifford, Executive Director of Darke County Parks. “Occasionally a trail user will lose their bearings, and this app will provide peace of mind. Even paddlers on the creek can track their location and report concerns. Plus, the safety aspect of the app, combined with our new wayfinding signage, will be invaluable to first responders in case of emergencies.”
Enhancing Community Events
Beyond individual exploration, the app will also be an integral part of Darke County Parks’ major community events, such as Bash at Bish and the Gathering at Garst. Through real-time updates and event-specific activities, visitors can fully immerse themselves in these experiences like never before.
