SEPTEMBER 9, 1935 – AUGUST 10, 2023
Frank Hurd, 87 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Thursday August 10, 2023 at 5:41 PM at Ayden Healthcare of Greenville. Frank was born September 9, 1935 in Indiana, the son of the late Theophilus and Gladys (Clemens) Hurd.
Frank worked for Excello, Cadillac Gage, Textron, the Darke County Sheriff’s Office and was a tree trimmer. He was a member of the Greenville Moose Lodge; he loved playing pool, bowling, riding motorcycles, and going to auctions.
Frank is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Richard, Donald, David, James, and Dean Hurd; and his sister, Elizabeth Olinger.
Frank is survived by his children and spouse, Melinda and Dale Dennull, Michael Hurd, Deana Hurd; his grandchildren, Jordan & Danielle Fleming, Tyler Fleming, Carmen Hurd, Bryan and Sarah Dennull, an Neal Dennull; his great grandchildren, Clarisa, Camren, and Caliegh; his brother and sister in law, Ralph and Ann Hurd; his sisters and brother in law, Edith Perkins, Gloria and Terry Buckingham,; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Frank’s life will be held on Saturday August 26, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home with Pastor Pamela Geise officiating. Burial will follow in Clemens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home.
