ANSONIA- Preble Shawnee will roll into Ansonia Friday night in a battle for the WOAC football title.
Both teams are undefeated in the conference with 7-0 records.
The Tigers have one blemish on their record, losing at Riverside on the road, 41-32.
Shawnee had one close game thus far, a 42-25 victory over Tri-Village.
Both teams have the ability to put points on the board.
Through eight games, Shawnee has scored 323 points while the Tigers have tallied.
On defense, Shawnee has allowed 58 points while the Tigers have allowed only 81 in the conference.
This game could very well come down to the the last team to score.
Ansonia does have the home field advantage which could make the difference for the Cats.
If you want to watch a good high-school football game, this is the one to watch.
In the rest of the WOAC Friday, Tri-Village will travel to Bradford, Arcanum will be at Dixie, Mississinawa Valley will play at Tri-County North and Twin Valley South is at National Trail.
