Gary G. Myers, age 78 of Stelvideo, Ohio passed away at 8:39 AM Tuesday November 7, 2021 at Village Green Health Care of Greenville. Gary was born May 5, 1943 in Darke County and the son of the late Roland J. and Mary L. (Landis) Myers.
He was retired from A.O. Smith. Gary loved to go boating, fishing, camping and motorcycling. His true passion was going to auctions and flea markets and spending time looking at old classic cars.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson Travis Anders; Brothers Roland J. Myers Jr., Keith Alfred Myers and Charles Edward Myers; Sisters Marilyn Printz and Darlene Mae Myers.
Gary is survived by his children Gary L. Myers of Dayton, Ohio, Tammy Avalos of Greenville and Melissa (James) Sparks of Florida; grandchildren Jessica (Steven) Rayburn, Jennifer (Dustin) Vance, Phillip Anders, Tawny (Travis) Wehrley, Cody Myers and Matthew Myers; great grandchildren Cecelia Anders, Pierce Anders, Lilly Anders, Ashley Nevels, Austin Nevels, Kaleb Flatter, Jacob Rayburn, Marcus Rayburn, Lauren Pergram and Lilly Myers; sister Connie (Keith) Humphreys of Conover, Ohio, his beloved dog “8 Ball” as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday December 13, 2021 in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with Rev. John McRoberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Abbottsville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 12:30 PM until time of the servicers in the funeral home.
