Geraldine L. “Geri” Crowe age 85, of Greenville passed away at 4:42 am Friday, August 25, 2023, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
Geri was born August 20, 1938, in Jacksboro, Tennessee, to the late George M. & Myrtle L. (Halstead) Fraley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas L. Crowe whom she married December 28, 1954; daughter, Teresa G. Ruby; son, Tommie D.A. Crowe; brothers, Henry C. Fraley, George C. Fraley, Lewis Alfred Fraley and Willard M. Fraley; and sisters, Verdie E. Fraley and Anna Mae Fraley.
Geri is survived by her children, Garry L. & Diane Crowe of Greenville, Deborah B. & Tom Hamblin of Quincy, Marjorie L.L. Crowe of Greenville, Christina M. Crowe of Greenville and Matthew T. & Bev Crowe of Xenia; grandchildren, Angela & Rich Gailey, Stacy & Jeremy Prouty, Shaun Crowe, Nikki & Lonnie Smith and Emily & Tyler Ross; great grandchildren, Austin Crowe, Nathan Gailey and Kyle Ross; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Geri was a member of Greenville Holiness Church.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, August 31, 2023, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Rodney Robbins officiating. Burial will follow in Abbottsville Cemetery in Darke County. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
