Getting Down in Down Town

Saturday… sorry… Friday Night Fever in DownTown! What a night!

Main Street Greenville kicked off Feb 3rd First Friday with Shopping, Dining, and Dancing. The event committee with its chair person Kristina Heath (KTL Performance Mortgage) and members Amy Erisman, Angie Beumer, Joyce Clark and Jessica Addis presented a good old fashioned dance party with dance contests, door prizes and a 50/50 raffle.

DJ 911 entertained the crowd mostly with music of the “disco era” (but he was also playing anything on request) and the people had a ton of fun!

The sponsors of the event were KTL Performance Mortgage, The Sure Shot Tap House and DJ911 (Caleb Custer), all involved in making this event successful were the committee members, Caleb Custer, Sarah Hall, Tiffany Kester, Susan Fowble, Leah Dumas, and Kori Weiss.

Door Prizes and Dance contest winners won donated items from: The Coffee Pot – Amber Garrett, Happily Ever Co – Sarah Hall, El Carreton Mexican Restaurant, EB Real Estate – Kurt Beisner, Scentsy – Shelbi Ferguson, Pink Zebra – Tiffany Kester and Making Waves Hair Salon

Main Street Greenville is striving to bring the community together and bring them downtown Greenville. Main Street Greenville is always looking for volunteers (no Main Street affiliation required, just a heart to help growing our community and making MainStreet beautiful), ideas, and suggestions. If you would like to be involved in Main Street Greenville contact them via their website
