The Lady Wave traveled to The Moose Golf Course to play Sidney on August 18th in a non conference match. The Lady Wave were led by Kenna Jenkinson with a 34; Lexi Slade had a 51; Vera Cox had a 58 and Sofia Chrisman had a 59. Also playing for the Wave were Callee Moore with a 64; Leah Curtis with a 70 and Taylor Trissell with a 75.
Sidney was led by Tatum Werntz with a 43; Madison Garber had a 51; Grace Steenrod had a 57 and Hannah Carlson had a 59. Also playing for Sidney were Roslyn Rotan with a 63; Raegan Rotan had a 66 and Malea Hensley had a 79.
The girls played well today – 5 of them had never seen the golf course and it is a challenging golf course. It is very hilly and requires the ability to hit the ball to certain targets.
