The Lady Wave golf team traveled to Highland Golf Course to compete in the Lady Blazer Invitational on August 2, 2024.
The Wave finished in 2nd place with a score of 409. Playing for the Lady Wave were Vera Cox with a 95, Sofia Chrisman with a 100, Callee Moore with a 106 and Taylor Trissel with a 108. Also playing were Reese Addington with a 121 and Kennedy Schoen with a 135.
Butler won with a 402, Greenville was second with 409, Arcanum was third with 410, Tipp City was fourth with 420, Tri-Village was fifth with 444, Miami East was sixth with 490 and National Trail was seventh with 493.
The girls played well for the first invitational of the year. Vera, Sofia, Callee, and Taylor all played better than last year. Reese and Kennedy did not play this course last year and they played well.
