Grand Opening of Artifacts Ink on Broadway

Tammy Fox, owner of Artifacts Ink, is no stranger to Downtown Greenville. She had a store mainly for scrapbooking from 2009 to 2014.

On Friday a Ribbon Cutting was held at her store at 519 S. Broadway.

Artifacts Ink is now focusing on art supply and art classes and Tammy is also displaying and selling her own artwork, which at that point is mostly mixed media art, collage and watercolor.

Tammy explained that she grew as an Artist and that was the reason why her focus on the business has changed. On top of that, scrapbooking isn’t that much popular anymore.

Tammy Fox is a mostly self-taught artist and has learned through observation and study of other artist’s work. She also attended courses and the Ranger University in New Jersey, led ny Artist & Designer Tim Holtz. She is also certified through California University Center for Palliative Care in healing Through Art.

Fox said that she is inspired by the details in nature, in found objects that she comes across, strange inconsistencies and color and she enjoys making interesting mixed media pieces from items she finds along walks, tossed away, pieces of nature or items people have given to her.

Artifacts Ink has some classes coming up:
