Greenville FFA Chapter holds annual TractorCade

Friday, September 22 was our annual TractorCade! Sheriff Deputy Knight came to speak to our student body about being safe on the roads and pay attention as harvesting season gets underway. Then members were led by Grand Marshall Mr. Chris Sykes, CT Director, as they made their way in front of the school for the parade of tractors. Thank you to everyone for coming out and supporting this event.

Remember to be keep your eyes up and your phones down so everyone makes it home to their loved ones because it only takes 16 seconds and lives can be completely changed!

Students participating included Summer Harter, Bo Melton, Owen Shaffer, Marissa Hicks and Jayden Hicks.

Thank you to Jim and Maria Hicks for helping get tractors lined up, Mr. Chris Sykes for being our grand Marshall and Koenig Equipment-Greenville for allowing us to borrow tractors for the event. Summer Harter’s and Mr. Sykes tractors were both from Koenig Equipment-Greenville.

Great job Cali Harter, Allison Francis and Taylor Trissel for speaking at today’s event. And thank you to our students who took the time to clean your tractors and get up early just so you could drive your tractor to school.
