Greenville, OH—Greenville Generating Station announced today that it, in collaboration with Darke Rural Electric Cooperative, has donated $1000 to the Great Darke County Fair gazebo restoration project.
“We’re pleased to expand our support of the restoration of the gazebo on the Great Darke County Fairgrounds,” said Greenville Generating Station Plant Manager Dave Richardson. “After the 2020 hiatus, the Greenville Generating Station staff looks forward to the return of the Great Darke County Fair.”
The Greenville Generating Station is natural gas-powered peaking plant with 200 MW generation capacity. Peaking plants are placed into operation when energy demand is at its highest.
