The complainant was advising of an assault complaint that occurred somewhere else in the city. PO arrived to the address and located the complainant, Braden Denny. PO looked at Braden and observed no visible injuries. PO also asked Braden if he had any injuries and he advised no. PO transported Braden to 303 1/2 Chestnut Street so PO could speak with him and Danielle at the same time. Originally Braden and Danielle both advised that earlier on the 28th while Danielle was away from the residence an argument ensued between Braden and Gage. That is when Gage grabbed Braden by the neck and pushed him into the counter. Then took Braden to the ground and was holding him down. While standing by so Danielle could gather her items from the residence PO talked to Gage. Gage advised there was no altercation today and he never put his hands on Braden. While waiting PO also spoke to Jeffrey Royster and Mario Lanham. Both subjects advised they never saw Gage put his hands on Braden today. While Danielle was still getting her items and we were standing in the kitchen to keep the peace, another PO noticed a clear baggy. He located a baggy on top of the microwave that contained approximately 8 grams of meth. Due to numerous people having access to the baggy and nobody claiming ownership, it was seized and taken to GPD. The weight of the baggy was approximately 7.9 grams. After Danielle gathered her items PO spoke to her more and she advised she was not home when the altercation occurred but what she heard was directly from Braden. PO asked Braden if this incident even occurred today and he advised no. Braden advised that he thought the incident occurred several days ago.
