Warrant

On October 17th, 2024 at 5:15PM PO observed Jeffrey White walking on Walnut St near E Fourth St. PO had prior knowledge that White had an active warrant for his arrest through the Greenville Police Department for failure to appear at arraignment for DUS. PO made contact with White and confirmed his identity by his SSN. Dispatch confirmed his warrant through LEADS/NCIC. White was placed into handcuffs. White was transported to the Darke County Jail where he was left with the on duty jail staff. White’s bond is $325.

Domestic

On October 18, 2024 at approximately 3:18 PM police was dispatched to 633 Harrison Avenue in reference to a domestic complaint. PO made contact with involved persons, Jason Bradburn and Kimberly Fourman. Kimberly stated she had been arguing with Jason for about a month due to him allowing a female, later identified as Danniel Elliott, stay at that address with them. Both Kimberly and Jason stated they were in a verbal argument and denied any physical altercation. PO observed a cut on the bridge of Kimberly’s nose, but Kimberly advised she had tripped over some items outside and hit her nose on the side of a chair and confirmed Jason did not strike her causing the cut. Kimberly stated she was gathering some of her belongings and leaving for the evening. Both Kimberly and Jason stated they are currently boyfriend and girlfriend and live together at the listed address. BCi ONLY. No children present.

Theft (not in progress)

On October 19th, 2024 at approximately 4:50 PM police was dispatched to 1000 North Broadway Street in reference to a theft from a donation trailer. PO made contact with the complainant and owner of the trailer Christopher Lovett. Christopher stated he received a call from Tribute Funeral Home’s employee, Carrie Latham, who advised him she saw two female subjects in white Mazda SUV bearing 493ZNP get out of the vehicle and take several bags of items from the trailer. Christopher stated he was unsure what was stolen due to the trailer being there for people to donate items to go the disaster relief to North Carolina. On the rear of the trailer was a posted sign saying “do not steal donations only”. Carrie stated she saw the white Mazda in the parking lot with two females removing items from the trailer and placing them into their vehicle. Thomas Shaw an employee of Tribute Funeral Home stated he looked out the front door observing two females taking items out of the trailer and placing them into their vehicle. Both Carrie and Thomas took pictures of the two females and the vehicle. Statements were collected from Christopher, Carrie, and Thomas. On October 19, 2024 another PO advised that he received a call from Christopher. Christopher advised he knew who the two female subjects were. The other PO made contact with Bridget Napier at 321 East Cross Street Ansonia, OH who admitted that she and her friend Lori Perkins had taken the items from the trailer. On October 19th, 2024 at approximately 6:11 PM, Bridget and Lori came to the Greenville Police Department. PO spoke with Bridget in interview room one and after reading her Miranda rights Bridget admitted to taking toothbrushes, baby food and boxed food. Bridget advised they took approximately 3 bags of items. Bridget believed the trailer was like the blessing box where you can take items and donate items. Bridget stated she did not see the sign at eye level on the trailer that said “do not steal”. Bridget stated they did bring the items back to Tribute Funeral Home leaving it on the doorstep. After interviewing Bridget, PO then interviewed Lori in interview room one and after reading her Miranda rights, Lori admitted to taking baby food, boxed food and a sack of potatoes. Lori stated they did bring items as well to donate believing it was treated like the blessing box. PO showed Lori a picture of two female subjects taking items out of the trailer in a white Mazda SUV, to which she pointed both females out being herself and Bridget. Lori stated they did bring the items back to Tribute Funeral Home leaving it on the doorstep. PO later called Christopher asking if the items had been returned, he advised he would check with Tribute Funeral Home staff. Christopher called back roughly an hour later confirming the items were returned. Bridget and Lori were both issued their copies of citations for theft. They were advised of their mandatory court date and time.

Domestic

On October 18th, 2024, at approximately 9:28 PM police was dispatched to the bridge at Ohio Street and River Street. This was in reference to an anonymous complaint about a male and female arguing in a vehicle and then exiting the vehicle to argue near the bridge. PO arrived and located the subjects a Donald Langston and a Geraldine Roberts. PO spoke with Donald while another Officer spoke with Geraldine. Donald advised that Geraldine is his fiance and they reside together at 115 Surrey Lane. Donald stated that they were drinking alcohol and playing darts at Jack’s Cabin prior to officer interaction. Donald advised that he just wanted to go home with Geraldine for the night and that nothing was physical. The other PO advised after speaking with Geraldine that she just wanted to go to the residence to get her dog for the night and leave. The PO transported Geraldine to the residence where she gathered her items and left. No school age children present, BCI ONLY.

Domestic

BCI only between Samuel Hardy and Jade Valdez. Hardy and Valdez reside together in an address in Englewood and were in a verbal argument. An extremely intoxicated Hardy claimed Valdez struck him with an open hand to the face. Hardy had no visible marks on him and kept going back and forth on cooperating as a victim and ultimately did not. Hardy left the residence for the night.

Domestic

BCI only between Cara Wooten and Paul Daugherty. Cara and Paul were in a verbal argument while driving in the 700 block of Chestnut St. There were no signs of a physical altercation. Cara stated Paul took her phone but did not wish to press charges on the phone. Cara and Paul are live in boyfriend and girlfriend. No school aged children present.

Domestic

On October 28th, 2024, at approximately 8:004PM, police was dispatched to 203 Warren Street Greenville, Ohio 45331 in reference to a domestic violence. BCI only between Kaleb and Madison Bingham. Kaleb and Madison are married, and have a son together, who was not with them during this incident. Kaleb and Madison were in a verbal argument over Kaleb not doing enough work around the house. Kaleb advised he was leaving for work around 10:00 P. M. and until then agreed to stay separated from Madison for the rest of the evening. There were no school age children present during this incident.
