Kimberley advised she was waiting on her friends at 542 Wagner Avenue to wake up so she could go inside stating she was locked out. PO asked Kimberley if she had anything in the vehicle. Kimberley looked around and stated she did not. PO asked Kimberley if he could search the vehicle. Kimberley advised she did not have anything and asked why PO wanted to search the vehicle. PO explained to Kimberley that it was odd that she had been parked there and asked her if she didn’t have anything illegal in the vehicle why she did not want police searching it. PO also advised she stated she was locked out and had time. Kimberley gave consent to search the vehicle, however when exiting the vehicle, took a large tote bag with her. PO searched the vehicle and in the front passenger seat located a small purse. While searching in the purse PO located a small spoon that had what appeared to be a slight amount of white residue on the spoon. After searching the vehicle PO went back and spoke with Kimberley regarding the spoon. Kimberley advised she got the spoon from a friend and did not know what was on it. PO asked Kimberley if he could search her bag. Kimberley hesitated and stated she already let the other Officers on scene search it. Officer Wentworth clarified that Kimberley did not let them search the bag and only let them look in it while she briefly held it open. PO explained to Kimberley his concern that she had something in the bag due to her taking it with her and also my concern after locating the spoon. PO advised her she was welcome to sit back in her truck while PO searched the bag due to it being cold. Kimberley handed PO the bag and went to knock on the door of 542 Wagner Avenue. While searching the bag PO located a glass smoking device in the inner pocket. From his experience he knows these devices to be used to ingest illegal narcotics by smoking them. Once Kimberley walked back over from the house, PO asked her about the pipe. She stated “it’s a bulb” PO asked her if it was used for smoking meth and she advised it was. PO explained to Kimberley he was going to pat her down due to finding the Meth pipe. PO searched her person and in the front right pocket of her work vest PO located a bag with a white crystal substance in it. PO asked Kimberley if it was Meth and she advised it was. PO asked Kimberley when the last time she used was, and she advised last weekend. PO explained to Kimberley that he would be sending the pipe and bag of suspected Meth to the lab to be tested. PO explained to her once the results of that came back he would take the case to Grand Jury and if there were charges she would get a summons at a later date. Kimberley advised a good address for her would be the 542 Wagner Avenue address. PO placed the suspected Meth and pipe in a plastic evidence bag in the cruiser. PO later placed both items into evidence and submitted them to be sent to the lab for testing. Charges will be pending the results from the lab.
