Upon arriving at approximately 1:50 AM PO observed the West front door, that had been previously boarded shut, to have an approximate 3 feet by 2 feet cut in the ply wood. Once PO was at the doorway, it was clear that someone had used a saw to cut the opening and get inside. PO could hear alarms going off but was unable to see or hear anyone. PO was able to watch the video Zayd had, and it showed a male subject wearing a white clown mask, gloves, blue jeans, with black and white shoes enter through the opening he cut, then go straight to the cabinet and steal the change. The male subject then used a large screwdriver and forced the register open to steal the money inside. Zayd was given a business card and a victims rights form to complete. Zayd stated he was unable to complete a total amount stolen but to have someone return around 10 AM and he would have a total. PO also told Zayd to send all the video to police, as well as write down anything else that might’ve been stolen. PO photographed the scene and all photographs will be attached to this report. PO was also able to collect the screwdriver that was used, and it will be placed into evidence. Zayd stated he had never seen it before, and it must belong to the offender.
