The Varsity Bowling teams hosted Xenia yesterday afternoon.
After the first game, the boys were down 61 pins despite bowling above their average. The boys didn’t give up tho, they continued to improve and make good shots. As a team, they shot their best game of the season and cut Xenia’s lead almost in half. The boys closed the gap again in game 3 and cut the lead to 14 pins. It came down to the last game and the boys delivered with one of their best baker games and won the match by 17 pins bringing them to 3-1 in the MVL and 3-3 overall. The boys were led by Roman Swisher with a high game of 215 and a high series of 376.
The girls jumped out to an early lead of almost 200 pins. They over doubled that lead in the 2nd game with most of the bowlers bowling at or above their average. They widened the lead with each baker game giving them the big win in the end. The girls were led by Addy Arnett with a high game of 168. Trinity Bowling had the high series with a 323.
The teams will travel to Beaver-Vu on Saturday to take on Stebbins.
