Greenwave Varsity Bowling: Boys win over Troy, Girls lose

The Greenwave Varsity Bowling Teams hosted Troy at Woodcrest Lanes.

The boys jumped out to an early lead of 59 pins after game 1.  Troy’s boys battled back and cut the Greenwave lead in half after game 2.  The Greenwave boys rallied back and beat them by 29 pins in the first baker and 46 pins in the 2nd baker.

The boys were led by Luke Kiser with a high game of 223 and a high series of 407.

The girls jumped out to an early lead of 43 over Troy after the first game.  Unfortunately, it was short lived as Troy came back with a vengence on game 2, taking the lead by 156 pins.  The LadyWave fought back in the bakers, taking game 1 by 32 pins, but lost the 2nd baker by 8.  In the end, Troy’s game 2 was too much to overcome.

The girls were led by Trinity Bowling with a high game of 200, but Addy Arnett had the high series with a 349.

The teams will host Stebbins on Wednesday at Woodcrest.
