Greenwave Varsity Bowling: Girls fall to Tippecanoe, boys win

The Greenville Bowlers traveled to Roll House Lanes in Huber Heights to take on Tippecanoe.

The girls jumped out to an early lead of 20 pins after game 1.  The girls bowled consistently on game 2, but Tipp improved by over 40 pins.  The girls were down by 8 going into the bakers.  The bakers proved to be a little too much for the girls tonight as Tipp’s lead spread in the first baker.

Even though the girls made the last game a close one, it wasn’t enough to overcome Tipp.

The girls were led by Addy Arnett with a 166 high game and a 325 high series.

The boys started off slow in game 1 finishing 7 pins behind, but came back with a vengence in game 2 jumping to a 185 pin lead.  The Baker games were just as good averaging 195 in the bakers and giving them the win by almost 270 pins.

The boys were led by Roman Swisher with a high game of 211 and Conner Leas with the high series of 388.

The Greenwave teams will travel back to Roll House tomorrow, Thursday, to face Butler.
