The LadyWave Bowlers bowled in the Sectional Tournament at Poelking Woodman Lanes in Kettering on Wednesday. The girls had a rough start as the girls couldn’t get things going. They started in 20th place out of 25. Game 2 was better, moving them up to 18th place. They maintained 18th place for game 3. They moved up to 17th place after 3 bakers and that’s where they ended up finishing. The girls were led by Addy Arnett with a 180 and Marissa Boney got the high series with a 466.
The top 10 teams qualified for districts and the top 10 non-team qualifying individuals also qualified. Marissa missed the cut by 8 pins and Addy missed the cut by 11 pins. The girls ended their season with a 11-7 record in the MVL and a 11-9 record overall. The girls would like to thank the community for their wonderful support and encouragement. We would like to thank coach Gary Garland for his many hours of work in guiding the girls to such a successful season. The girls look forward to next year! Go WAVE!!!
