Harvey Junior Crick age 85, of Greenville passed away at 5:03 pm Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at EverHeart Hospice Care Center in Greenville.
Harvey was born April 3, 1937, in Greenville to the late Harvey John & Fairel (Burns) Crick. Harvey was also preceded in death by his daughter, Joanne Lynn Crick on June 13, 2022; and brothers, Cleo Crick and Eugene Crick.
Harvey is survived by his wife of 63 years, Phyllis J. (Bashore) Crick whom he married July 13, 1959; daughters & son-in-law, Nancy & Robert Olejniczak of Randolph, New York, and Susan Crick of Denver, Colorado; grandchildren, Eli Olejniczak, Leah Olejniczak, Ashton Smith and Dawson Smith; brothers-in-law, Sam Bashore, Don Bashore and Richard (Karla) Bashore; sister-in-law, Deb (Barry) Brown; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Harvey served in the U.S. Army from 1960-1962. He retired from Fram/Honeywell in Greenville with 35 years of service. Harvey was a member of the Swinging 8’s Square Dance Club. He was a longtime volunteer at The Garst Museum in Greenville. Harvey enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling with his wife on their motorcycle, and attending tractor shows.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 21, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville. A private graveside service will be held in Gettysburg Cemetery with Pastor John Shelton officiating.
