Helen E. McClain age 93, of Lima and formerly of Greenville passed away at 8:23 pm Monday, February 24, 2025, at Mercy Health St. Rita’s Hospital in Lima.
Helen was born September 15, 1931, in Brookville, Indiana, to the late Walter & Ruth (Thackery) Thompson. In addition to her parents, Helen was also preceded in death by her husband, Phillip McClain; son-in-law, Donald Hall; brothers, Edward and Wayne Thompson; and sister, Jane Thompson.
Helen is survived by her children, Deborah Hall of Lima, Nora & Lanny Greear of Temperance, Michigan, and Barney & Margee McClain of Lakeview; and grandchildren, Timmy McClain, Megan Ruhe, Kate Bell, Charlie Graf, Kari Henes and Lisa Greear.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, February 28, 2025, at Greenville Union Cemetery (New Section) in Greenville with Pastor Tony Price officiating.
