Davis, J.Byron, age 100, of Pitsburg, passed away at his home on Sunday, January 7, 2024.
He was preceded in death by his wife Esther and by a son, Jack.
Byron was a US Navy Veteran of WWII and a member of the VFW. He spent his working life farming.
Byron is survived by nieces, Sue Holzapfel, Jennifer Barhorst & Amanda Jones-Riffell; cousin, John Davis; special family friend, Eric Hussey, and numerous other relatives and friends.
A celebration of Byron’s life will be held 11 am Wed. Jan. 17 at the Kreitzer Funeral Home, 204 N. Main St. Arcanum, OH 45304, conducted by Pastor Chris Barhorst. Burial with military honors will follow in Mote Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Wednesday from 10am until service time.
