Jackson Friendship 4-H Club holds March meeting

On March 10, 2025 the Jackson Friendship 4-H Club held its March meeting at the Mississanawa Valley Schools concession area. The meeting was called to order by Troy Lavy at 7:04 PM. The pledges were led by Lavy also.

There were no devotions at this meeting. There was a health and safety report by Anna Barga. Her report was the importance of wearing your seatbelt.

The old business was to remind everyone that the enrollment deadline is April 1. Also to remind everyone that the project books are in the extension office for pick up. A discussion on whether or not the club or members pay county dues. Colton Longenecker motioned for the club to pay the county dues that was seconded by Emily Thomas. The motion passed.

There was no new business at this meeting.

Megan Gower gave an update on the Swine Committee. There is a new Swine record book and resource book. The achievement committee talked about the Rossburg Acres meeting and possible speakers to come to club meetings. The booth committee decided that the theme is football. The theme is, Jackson Friendship Tackling Another Year. The Activities Committee discussed possibly volunteering at a local food pantry.

The motion to adjourn was by Emily Thomas, which was seconded by Anna Barga. The motion passed. The meeting was adjourned at 7:37 PM.

Our next meeting will be held April 14 in the MV concession area at 7:00 PM.
