James Edward Rahm, 72 of Versailles, Ohio, passed away on Thursday March 31, 2022 at Versailles Rehab and Healthcare Center. He was born September 30, 1949 in Greenville, Ohio. Son of the late Charles Robert “Bob” and Eileen (Deeter) Rahm.
James was a proud graduate of the Versailles class of 1970. He was an avid Reds fan, loved to play cards, and would walk over to the Versailles Healthcare Center daily to play cards with the residents. He also loved Tiger sports especially basketball, and he loved spending time at Poultry Days and the Great Darke County Fair. He attended numerous barbershop harmony conventions throughout the country with his parents.
James is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Michael Rahm, aunts and uncles: Beulah and Waldo Fine, Luella and Harry Sinsabaugh, and his cousin, Diane Sickles.
James is survived by his brother and sister in law John and Mary Rahm, his nephew and spouse, Al and Melissa Rahm and nephew Jason Rahm. Niece and spouse Jessica and Eric Nawroth. Also surviving are many cherished cousins: the Dave Fine family, the Tom and Debra Wilson family, the Cliff Sickles family, Larry and Pam Sinsabaugh family, and Rick and Sarah Sinsabaugh.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am Thursday, April 7, 2022, at Webster United Methodist Church, Webster, Ohio with Pastor Douglas E. Gardner Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Harris Creek Cemetery, Bradford, Ohio. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bailey Zechar funeral home and one hour prior to services at the church.
