DECEMBER 1, 1943 – JUNE 30, 2023
Janice L. Penny, 79 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Friday June 30, 2023 at 1:36 PM at Kettering Medical Center, Kettering, Ohio. Janice was born December 1, 1943 in Celina, Ohio, the daughter of the late Richard and Mildred (Kreitzer) Troutwine.
Janice was a homemaker and worked in food services. She was a member of the Darke County Quilting Club; she was an excellent cook, she loved to sew, gardening, her flowers and especially she loved her family.
Janice is survived by her husband, Raymond Penny of Greenville, whom she married September 26, 1964; her children, Mark and Angie Penny of Greenville, and Barbara Haney of Eaton, Ohio; her grandchildren, Adam Penny, and Brittany Worch; her great grandchildren, Piper and Ripp Worch; and her brother, Ronnie Troutwine.
Services will be held on Thursday July 6, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Greenville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Thursday July 6, 2023 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Association of Darke County.
