Jared J. Grillot, 25 of Versailles, Ohio, passed away on Friday October 15, 2021. He was born August 9, 1996 in Piqua, Ohio, the son of Marion and Bonnie (Gigandet) Grillot of Versailles.
Jared worked at Innovated Technologies in Piqua as an electrician and was a welder. He was a member of the Versailles Eagles and Pheasants Forever; he enjoyed hunting, kayaking, golfing and anything outdoors. He was a 2015 graduate of Versailles High School and MVCTC in the electrical trades program. Jared attended the Hobart Institute of Welding Technology where he was certified in Mig and Tig.
Jared is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Jerome and Joan Gigandet; his paternal grandparents: Marion A. and Emily Grillot; and his niece: Philomena Schmitmeyer.
Jared is survived by his parents; his girlfriend: Lauren Eilerman of Fort Loramie; his siblings and spouses: Ben and Mallory Schmitmeyer of Versailles; Josh and Kristen Brandon of Versailles; Jeffrey and Aubrey Grillot of Versailles; Natalie and Reggie Wendel of Osgood, Ohio; his nieces and nephews: Margaret, Cecilia, Monica, Abraham, Bernadette, and Thomas Schmitmeyer; Maxwell, James, and Josephine Brandon; Rhett Grillot; Colette Wendel; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday October 20, 2021 at 10:30 AM at St. Denis Catholic Church (14 East Wood Street, Versailles, Ohio) with Rev. Fr. Jim Duell Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Valbert Cemetery. The family will receive family and friends from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday October 19, 2021 and from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM on Wednesday at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Pheasants Forever.
