Jeffrey K. “Jenk” Jenkinson, age 67 of Greenville, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday March 13, 2024 at 6:57 AM at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, Ohio. Born in Greenville on April 17, 1956 he was one of 3 sons to Waldo & Helen (Miller) Jenkinson. Jeff was the Senior Director of sales at Beauty Systems Group. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Greenville, and had also served on the board of Wayne Industries. Jeff was an avid sports fan, and during any given season you could find him rooting for and supporting his favorite teams: the Cincinnati Bengals, Bearcats and Reds; the UD Flyers; The Ohio State Buckeyes; and Greenville and St. Henry Athletics. He carried the chains for Greenville football for 40 years .He enjoyed watching horse races and loved everything about the game of golf, but his true passion was his family. He was so proud of his children and grandchildren; his grandchildren were his whole world. Jeff was a kind man, who will be missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his father-in-law Charles Kelly.
Survived by the love of his life, Eileen “Neen” (Kelly) Jenkinson whom he married on August 7, 1976: his children Corey & Christi (Stebbins) Jenkinson; Cami & Greg Schwartz: grandchildren Kenna & Piper Jenkinson; Dominic, Brody, Kale, Landon and Larkin Schwartz: brothers Rick Jenkinson; Kevin & Becky Jenkinson: mother-in-law Judy Kelly: sisters-in-law Kathleen & Joe Bevaque; Maureen & Jerry Hromada; Colleen & Tony Rosa: nieces and nephews Carson Jenkinson; Taylor & Rachel Jenkinson; Chase & Ella Jenkinson; Bryce & McKinsey Jenkinson; Madison, Jacob and Jasmine Hromada; Michael, Amanda, Casey Morrissette: numerous great-nieces and nephews: his 2 claimed bonus sons Travis Lumpkin; Scott Martin: and friends he considered family at White Springs Golf Club.
Friends may call on the family on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 from 4:00 PM-8:00 PM at the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville. Funeral service to be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Gary Cloyd presiding. There will be an hour visitation from 9-10 AM prior to the service.
