Turner, Joan L. Perkins, age 86, formerly of Lakeview, OH & Dayton, OH passed away at Brookdale of Oakwood on Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2022 following an extended illness.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James & Sadie Sullivan and by husbands, John Perkins & Warren Lee Turner. She was a graduate of Wilbur Wright High School and worked for many years with the Dayton Public Schools.
Joan is survived by children, Butch, Bob & David Perkins, Diane Mendenhall & Linda Wilson; step-children, John, Jeff, Junior & Andy Turner, Amanda Berlon & Kandy Hoover; numerous grandchildren & great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives & friends.
Funeral services will be held 12 pm Mon. October 10 at the Kreitzer Funeral Home, 204 N. Main St. Arcanum, OH 45304, with burial to follow in Hollansburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held 10-12 Monday at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent by going online to www.kreitzerfuneralhome.com.
